The lubrication of air compressors is essential to ensure the normal operation of the equipment and extend its service life. The design and maintenance of the lubrication system require specific considerations for different types of air compressors.
Lubrication method:
1.Oil ring lubrication method: Use the rotating shaft to drive the oil ring to bring the oil in the oil pool into the bearing, which is suitable for circulating lubrication.
2.Splash lubrication method: The oil is splashed to various lubrication parts through the oiling rod. It is often used in small compressors without crossheads, but the design is simple and the oil level needs to be strictly controlled.
3.Pressure lubrication method: Use an oil pump to automatically deliver lubricating oil to the pressure lubrication part, suitable for large compressors with crossheads.
4.Oil drip lubrication method: lubricating oil is delivered to the parts that need lubrication through the oil cup and oil pipeline.
5.Injection lubrication method: Oil mist follows the gas into the cylinder and other lubrication locations. It is suitable for ultra-high pressure compressors, vane compressors and screw compressors.
Lubrication parts:
1.Cylinder: The lubricating oil is sprayed into the cylinder surface through the oil injector for lubrication, effectively controlling the oil injection point and oil injection amount.
2.Bearings: Lubricating oil is supplied to the system through oil pumps and filters to meet the lubrication needs of each friction pair.
3.Packing tower: Lubricated by plunger oil pump.
Note:
1.Ensure that the viscosity of the lubricant is sufficient to form a stable oil film to prevent wear on the mechanical friction surface.
2.Control the input amount of lubricating oil to prevent excessive or insufficient lubrication.
3.Check the quality and oil level of lubricating oil regularly to keep it clean.
4.Consider the ambient temperature and cylinder configuration to select the appropriate lubricant consumption quota.
Through correct lubrication methods and regular maintenance, the operating efficiency and reliability of the air compressor can be significantly improved.
