There are mainly the following methods to deal with water ingress in the lubricating oil of permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor:
1.Use automatic sewage solenoid valve: install an automatic sewage solenoid valve at the drain port at the bottom of the oil-water separator, set the automatic sewage interval to 2 minutes, and the sewage discharge time to 5 seconds. In this way, the operating time of the air compressor can be effectively extended by increasing the sewage discharge time of the separator without affecting the normal operation of the air compressor, meeting the minimum operating time requirement of the air compressor.
2.Replace pipeline check valve and install oil-water separator: technicians can replace pipeline check valve with better sealing performance and install oil-water separator with high water removal efficiency after the air compressor outlet pipeline. The oil-water separator uses precision filter element to filter inside, through cyclone separation, inertial collision separation and fine fiber filtration, intercept water and oil in compressed air, and discharge it through the sewage outlet to meet the demand for high-pressure gas.
3.For the problem of condensation accumulation: Make sure the air compressor has a sufficient minimum running time to prevent the formation of condensation. The minimum running time is generally not less than 10 minutes to ensure that the air compressor is heated to a temperature sufficient to vaporize the condensed moisture.
4.Dealing with the problem of excessive water content in exhaust gas: Due to the long downtime of permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor, the water generated by the exhaust gas may accumulate around the pipeline and the check valve, causing the water to flow back into the chassis. It is necessary to regularly check and clean the water around the pipeline and the check valve to avoid the gradual increase of water content in the lubricating oil.
5.Maintenance of the air-water separator: Although the permanent magnet variable frequency air compressor is equipped with an air-water separator, the actual operating effect may not be ideal. It is necessary to regularly check the working effect of the air-water separator and perform necessary maintenance or replacement to ensure that the water generated during the compression process can be effectively separated.
