In the oil circulation system of the screw air compressor, the temperature control valve is an important component. Its main function is to control the cooling process of the lubricating oil to maintain the optimal working temperature. The following is an introduction to the temperature control valve in the oil circulation of the screw air compressor:
1.Function of temperature control valve: The temperature control valve uses temperature sensing elements to control the fluid temperature. It is usually based on special temperature-sensitive paraffin as the valve core. It uses its linear expansion characteristics of volume during the solid-liquid phase change process to convert the temperature change signal into a change in valve core displacement, thereby controlling the lubricating oil flowing through the oil cooler.
2.Working principle: When the oil temperature in the oil and gas barrel rises and reaches the control point, the thermal power element pushes the valve core downward to open the valve to the oil cooler. The higher the temperature, the greater the displacement of the valve core and the larger the opening of the valve. When the oil temperature drops, the thermal power element contracts, the valve core returns to the initial position, closes the valve to the oil cooler, and allows the oil to flow directly to the screw machine.
3."Dividing flow" and "mixing flow" mode: The temperature control valve can adopt the dividing flow control mode or the mixed flow control mode. The dividing flow mode is commonly used in small and medium-sized screw machines, and the temperature control valve core is usually opened at 71℃ or 76℃. The mixed flow mode is more commonly used in large screw machines, and the valve core temperature may be 54℃ or 43℃. Its characteristic is that the valve core action temperature is low, which is suitable for occasions where the lubricating oil temperature needs to be controlled for a longer time.
4.Importance of temperature control valve: The temperature control valve ensures the accurate control of the exhaust temperature of the screw air compressor, preventing tripping, carbon deposition, reduced efficiency and even damage to parts due to excessive temperature. It also prevents the lubricating oil from emulsifying due to low temperature, which will damage the cooling and lubrication effect of the unit.
5.Maintenance and care: Regularly checking the working condition of the temperature control valve to ensure that it can correctly respond to temperature changes and regulate oil flow is part of the maintenance and care of the screw air compressor.
Through this information, we understand the key role of the temperature control valve in the oil circulation system of the screw air compressor, as well as its working principle and importance. Proper maintenance and care can ensure that the temperature control valve works effectively for a long time, thereby improving the operating efficiency and reliability of the screw air compressor.
