The three filters of an air compressor refer to the air filter, oil filter and oil-gas separator. They are important wearing parts in the air compressor and need to be replaced regularly to ensure the normal operation of the equipment. The following are the methods and precautions for replacing the three filters:

Air filter replacement:

After stopping, tap the end face of the filter element to remove dust.

Use dry air to blow the filter element in reverse direction, keeping the nozzle at a certain distance from the filter element.

Check the filter element for damage, if so, replace it with a new one.

Oil filter replacement:

After shutting down the engine and relieving the pressure, unscrew the old oil filter and discard it.

Clean the filter housing and check the performance of the differential pressure transmitter.

Apply oil to the seal of the new filter element, screw it until it contacts the gasket and then tighten it manually.

Check for leaks after starting up.

Replacement of oil and gas separator filter element:

Remove the connecting pipe and copper tube from the minimum pressure valve.

Remove the copper tube of the oil return pipe, pull out the filter element and clean the cylinder.

After replacing the new filter element, install it in reverse order and pay attention to check the length of the oil return pipe.

Use a torque wrench to tighten the oil/gas separator cover bolts.

Precautions:

Make sure to replace the filter after the compressor has stopped running and the pressure has been relieved.

Be careful to avoid burns from hot oil and oil spills.

Check whether the rubber and asbestos pads have anti-static properties, and prevent dirt from falling into the oil drum during installation.

Make sure the oil return line is inserted into the bottom of the filter element.
